YUMMY FOURTH OF JULY FRUIT TART RECIPE

YUMMY FOURTH OF JULY FRUIT TART RECIPE

What better way to sweeten your Independence Day than with a crispy, creamy dessert that not only satisfies your taste buds but also fires up your Fourth of July spirit with its patriotic colors! What makes this dessert even better? It only takes 35 minutes with prep and bake time!

Let’s start off with what you need:

  • 18 ounces of refrigerated cookie dough (softened)
  • 8 ounces of cream cheese (also softened)
  • ¼ cup of sugar
  • ½ teaspoon of almond extract
  • 1 cup of fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup of fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries (cut in half)

Here is where the real fun begins. You want to start off by pressing the cookie dough onto an ungreased pan. Luckily this delicious dessert will be tasty no matter what size or shape you decide to make it so have fun when you pick your pan.

The Cooks Innovations 9” Tart Pan not only makes baking a breeze, it also leaves your treats with a nice fluted edge, allowing them to look great and taste great!

The 9” Tart Pan is three times lighter than metal, holds its shape, unbreakable, scratch & rust proof. Non-stick. No oil or flour needed because it’s 100% non-stick! This makes for an easy release and even easier cleanup! The 9” Tart Pan evenly distributes the heat and energy efficiently, this is because unlike other tart pans, the heat from this pan goes into the batter – not bakeware. If you are looking for the latest and greatest in bakeware, check out this new, unbreakable, and composite material at Cooks Innovations.

Once the cookie dough is completely pressed onto the pan, place it in the oven and bake it at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes or until it is a nice golden brown color.
While the crust is baking, mix the cream cheese, sugar, and almond extract until it is smooth. Once the cookie dough is cooled, spread the creamy goodness over it until you have an even layer.

For the next step you will need your strawberries and blueberries. Arrange the berries in the shape of a star and add a border to it as a finishing touch.

Now that all of the “hard work” is done, take a moment to enjoy the beautiful, patriotic dessert that you just created. Maybe even take a picture or two and share it with your friends!

Finally, serve yourself a slice and sit back and enjoy your Fourth of July celebration with this star-spangled, fluffy fruit tart treat.
