4 tbsp. of butter

1 chopped medium onion

3 celery stalks sliced

½ tsp. salt

1 tsp. ground sage

1 tsp. dry thyme

10 cups dried, unseasoned bread cubes

1 ½ cups chicken or veggie broth

1 egg

Instructions

First things first, preheat your oven to 350˚F.

Melt the butter into a large pan and sauté the onions and celery for about 5 minutes. Add in the salt, sage, and thyme while you sauté your mixture. Next, slowly stir in the bread cubes into your sautéed mixture.

Once that is done, pour in your broth over thfinal-thanksgiving-stuffinge bread cubes carefully folding everything so the bread does not break apart too much.

In another bowl, whisk the egg and add into the stuffing mix. Keep folding the mixture until the egg is fully incorporated into your stuffing. Scoop your stuffing into a casserole dish and bake, uncovered, for 40 minutes or until the stuffing is golden and toasty on the top.

And that’s it, the final results are delicious and everyone will think you spent hours making it! If you like this recipe, check us out on Pinterest for more easy, quick, and tasty Thanksgiving recipes!
